When I made the decision to go to pharmacy assistant courses I guess I should have thought more about how many pharmacy assistant jobs there actually are out there. I did not really think about it until I had already registered. But, by then it was to late to change my mind. But all is not lost for sure. Because I checked with some friends of mine and with my professor and they all said you can find places hiring all the time in this profession.

I actually began really enjoying the courses and that was another reason I was glad that there were alot of jobs posted. Because I really think that I could do this job. I want to work in a hospital though, not in a local pharmacy. I think the work flow would be busier and plus there are more people in a hospital than a local pharmacy.

I have read about the leadership competencies list and I cannot help but assess my competency as a leader. I try to ask myself the following questions: Do I command respect among my peers? Do I uphold the truth and strive to do the right thing in every situation? Am I result-oriented? Is it in my character to see the broader picture of things and its long-term effects? Am I impartial? Do I make my judgment based on truths and not on opinions? Do I have the passion to lead? Am I a team-builder? Do I have the inherent ability to spot talents and to harness those talents in my people? Do I empower people? Do I practice participative leadership? Lastly, do I take responsibility for my actions and decisions? After asking myself these questions, I feel confident that I have most of characteristics in the leadership competencies list. I am sure that my constituents would say the same thing about me.

If drinking milk daily is to healthy bones then hard work as a PT is to more than just a physical therapist salary. The last time I was able to drink pure milk was eighteen years ago.
